Draft — review before relying on this. These terms describe how we work. Anything agreed in writing for a specific project takes precedence over this page.

Quotes and scope

Project work is quoted against a written scope. The number in the quote covers what the scope describes. Work outside it is quoted separately before it starts, never added silently.

Invoicing and payment

Invoices are payable by the terms shown on the invoice. HST is charged where it applies and is shown as a separate line. Payment is by card or Interac e-Transfer.

Retainers

Monthly engagements run on a rolling basis with 30 days notice on either side. Unused time in a month does not roll forward unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Ownership

On final payment, everything produced for you is yours: the code, the designs, the accounts, and the documentation. We keep the right to describe the work and show it as an example.

Third-party services

Some work depends on services run by other companies — hosting, payment processing, and similar. Their pricing and availability are outside our control.

Liability

We are responsible for doing the work competently. We are not responsible for losses beyond the value of the work itself.
